I have been a longtime user of your app and have been VERY happy until recently. I am interested in expanding our capabilities but I feel that your subscription based service doesn't appeal in any way. I've enjoyed the updates I receive, but I do not desire to have the global leaderboard, data recovery, multiple child profiles (we are, and will always be a one child household), or teacher's controls. I think that the one size fits all approach isn't going to work. I would much prefer to pay a yearly subscription with a steep discount for doing so (for example $60 a year), or a much lower monthly subscription rate ($2.99) that would be between your base option and monthly option right now. I feel that an option that is around $2.99 would be much easier for many parents to swallow. Another great point is that with kids getting so many "things" these days, an app like this, with a iTunes gift card friendly price tag, could be a great incentive for grandparents to give to the family.
